Hello!
I am very new to the modding world and just downloaded the 8.7 including all the patches as well as 8.8. When I try to play the game I get a “User script file cannot be changed” notification. I am stuck! What do I do?

That may come from having other mods in your NTW vanilla files. Easyest way to fix this is to go into The Creative Assembly/Napoleon folder and delete the Scripts folder as shown below. Go back to the NTW3 desktop launcher and select restore Vanilla, play a vanilla game to initialize the files and then start the NTW3 mod up again. This should correct the issue
