My computer is crashing while playing "Napoleon Total War" from Steam

Hello friends,

I have been playing Napoleon Total War for a long time on Steam. But a problem has been arising from yesterday, my computer is crashing while playing this game. I have no idea whether the problem is happening from the Steam. I have never faced such a problem before. Does anyone have any idea about how to solve the issue?

First step is to verify that you have the correct ntw vanilla files installed.

--> The NTW3 mod is a stand alone install , other mods may cause conflicts with it.
Open your NTW3 desktop launcher (see image below) and select "Restore vanilla"

--> Go to your Steam Library and select “Total War: NAPOLEON” right click “Properties” and select “Local Files” from the menu then “Verify integrity of game file” to check the vanilla game files. The steam program will reload any missing files, then play a vanilla game to initialize the game files.

--> Next go to our NTW3 forum at the Total War Center and read up on tips & help for players:

--> Adjust your graphic settings for your cpu & gpu, the NTW3 mod is ten+ years old and can be a resource hog.

Thank you so much Lord Davn for your suggestion. I checked out properly Steam settings and the game file that was completely fine. The problem is not about the Steam.

Anyway, I was able to resolve the issue by the following steps here. And my computer is not crashing at all while playing this game Napoleon Total War.

I played for 1 hour and still my computer is not crashing. At first I thought the problem was with the game, but I was completely wrong. Anyway now my pc is not crashing at all that is enough for me.
