Hello all :)

Just registered, especially for this message.

I just had a freeze with the new patch. Problem is: I hadnt installed it on a fresh installation of Rome Total War so I'm quite sure that's where the problem is.

I suggest you emphasize even more that you have to use a fresh install of rtw or otherwise old bugs do occur! :(

See you on the Battlefield!

Hi there,

I also was in a game with the dreaded freeze bug and I had had a complete and utter new install, RTW completely removed and then patched correclty with a new install of NTW2 ver 1.0 and the Map Pack. The BP does not completely remove this bug, only lessens it.

I will make sure to include a more indepth install method and emphasize the importance of reinstalling RTW to clean out older bugs when the Map Pack comes out. :)
