Is FoB safe for sp campaigns?

Postby pheidippides » Sat Nov 03, 2007 6:59 pm

Is Fields of Battle safe for running a single-player campaign, or will it randomly crash for some reason? Yes, I'm that bothered by the lack of dead bodies in other campaigns. It takes the fun out of fighting battles in the first place.

FoB won't crash as far as I know, but it won't work properly either. Some countries will lose all of their money immediately, and other bizarre things will happen. See this thread: http://www.thelordz.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9503 for an example of what can happen.

Well, thanks for replying so quickly. Now I know not to play as France. I guess I'll try the campaign, and see if anything happens.

FoB is not designed for SP campaign play, so I wouldn't recommend it.

It's safe!

:D Well, after a few campaigns (Austria, Savoy-Piemont, United Provinces) I have come to the conclusion that FoB is PERFECTLY stable for single-player campaigns. I have had NO problems whatsoever.
