Charge

Postby Birdman2008 » Tue Feb 12, 2008 4:06 pm

Well, i have a quick question, it may sound stupid, but notice that i only started playing NTW yesterday ( the site had been down for ages.. ) ... so.. my infantry usually just exchanges musket shots with the opposite even if i d selected the "charge at will " or soemthing ( not fire at will, that s always on ).. so anyways what am i doing wrong? they sometimes choose to charge when i DONT want them to do so :s

any thoughts?

It was alt/shift/ctrl + left click and they should charge.

You use the same button for charging missile troops in ordinary MTW/VI.

The keyboard and particularly the mouse are used slightly differently in MTW/VI and in RTW as I guess you have noticed by now. ;)

You weren't being offensive.

The best way to get to know the games you're playing is to really not be afraid to push buttons when you first get into game. While I don't recommend this for MP games, when you begin testing some SP games it works wonders. Just watch out with the crtl and del buttons and you'll be fine. :D
