NTW3 v9.0 release

The NTW3 v9.0 has been updated with the new v9.2 mod, now posted on ModDB:

The NTW3 v9.0 Peninsula campaign is Multi-Player compatible or as Single Player vs the AI

The NTW3 v9.0 European campaign now includes a combined Naples and Sicily faction.
You can choose to start from either Naples or Palermo as your capitol.

Hello Lord Davn,

I noticed that the unit Keys in the DB files and Loc file for classic battles were changed to a numbering system instead of what was being used in the 8.9 and prior, with the unit keys simply being units name.
Example: Inf_Line_British_Foot_name
Is there a way for us to decipher or understand the numbering system that wad put in place? Can you inform us how we can know what the units are?

We have to work around the protocols that Steam has put in place to limit players from using cheat codes or hacked versions of the NTW game.
The drop-in campaign battles with other players are available but the connections for campaign games are not compatible :orly:

I see, how odd. This has been something recent, due to the new changes in the mod presumably? I know that I have played the NTW3 European campaign multiplayer before, but that was several versions ago. Do you mean to say that there is actually work going on to make it happen, or is this not scheduled for any time soon?

I've done a clean install but with 9.0 I'm unable to use all my funds doing a Custom Battle.

Lord Wesley (Fusilier) has finally found a fix to the dreaded blob problem in the campaign games when the AI is on the defense.
We are testing and adding more improvements to the campaign battle AI for a patch release in the near future :wink:
