The newer NTW3 launcher copies the scripting & startpos files to the correct folders for the SPC just have to get it copy the right files for the MPC

How do I check that I have installed the patches correctly? My game still shows as Version 8 on the main screen

Look in the NTW3/Version80/Campaign folder for the Date Modified 9/27/2018 time stamp on some of the pack files that were updated.
The next release will have the faction menu screen updated for v82

Guten tag! very good mod,best mod for ntw,but why napoleon bonaparte and his generals have not real uniform of 1796-1801 in new army france 1798(orient) like this

Are you talking about multiplayer or campaign? In multiplayer all the regular uhlan regiments are present.

We're completing the work on the v82 spc patch, it updates the 1805 British faction uniforms (by Black Serpent) and the recruitment roster.
Lord Cosak can give you an estimated date for the release

The latest patch removes the ability to save and load armies. I am sure for good reason. Is there an explanation somewhere?

To avoid crashes for those who save/load over 20 units in their OOB

Oh wow I thought I was the only 1 who had that problem! But now that I cant load armies (there so many more to choose from) it makes me a little upset that I cant do that any more and spent the last hour trying to revert it back to the old style menu! Well Im glad you said something Wym.. Sucks but Im happy atleast Im not the only one who has to spend extra time digging thru the chest of unit cards everytime I wanna play

NP M8......BTW would be good to see u back in game like the good ol days....though tbh I only get a couple of games in each week now adays

A few comments:
1). The AI seems to start battles all bunched up in one spot instead of a realistic deployment. Is this being looked at?
2). I would like to see the range rings back. Here's why: In real life on the battlefield I can judge 100 or 200 yards of range pretty easily and you can be sure everyone knew exactly how there weapons operated. But in this game, you can't really judge distance because there is no "real" reference point for estimating range. Therefore, it is only fair that you have range rings for units because you could judge that in real life and can't judge it in this game setting. You could make it selectable for those who don't want them.
3). So my fleet of 5 French SOL's and a frigate engage England's 6 SOL's in combat. By the end, my frigate was sunk but 5 of the 6 Brits are surrendered, Lord Nelson is dead, my 5 SOL's are in good shape and the last Brit ship only gets away because time ran out. What should be a glorious victory with 5 new French prize ships is a FRICKING DEFEAT? In what universe is that outcome a defeat? It is a Trafalgar style incredible victory to say the least. How does this game define victory and loss and is there a way to make it realistic for naval battles to base outcomes on actual facts. In this setting, as long as I am attacked and keep a fast little frigate out of harms way till time runs out - NO MATTER the outcome I win?! The other fleet has to run and I get all my surrendered ships back and his as well? Something is rotten with the decision tree that evaluates win/loss for naval battles. Can this be fixed?

1.) We've worked hard to reduce the AI bunching when it's on the defense. There has been some success but it still occurs to often in the Single Player campaign. I owe this to a lot of custom units that we have in the NTW3 SP campaign game, we'll keep working on it to find a fix

2.) Good point I'll see if we can add a sub-mod back in with the campaign game to restore the firing ranges.
3.) Unfortunately the AI thinks to highly of Lord Nelson and that he can not be defeated

Only the 1805 Campaign has been modified for NTW3 stats. However we are working on the Spanish Peninsular Campaign to include v83 Classic Battle stats and units.
