You MUST have the current version of NTW3 v3.0 installed (download links near the end of this post:

I will add the updated change log at the bottom of that post later. We are continuing to add improvements to the SPC for our NTW3 v4.0 release for early in 2014.

After patching HB 3.61 with this auto-installer we were unable to start any HB (launcher would ask for 3.6 version). We tried to reverse the changes but the battle would stop in the middle of the game because of desync :(
we need Desaix ASAP to fix this...

I believe Desaix is on vaction and afkb for a while. I sent an email to him the other day advising him of the problem

Sorry for the hb bug. I will fix it on the 4th of junuary. In the meanwhile try to duplicate the missing file in data directory under main napoleon using the ntw3_hb_slow_V37.pack

Thanks Desaix but first things first enjoy your break. Miko and I have done a work around where u uninstall V3 then reinstall it then 3.1, 3.4 then 3.61, HB's then work again. Anyway have a happy new year.

Been running french campaign on 3.7

playing well so far (October 1807)

But something has gone wrong with a number of units loosing their names: french hussars, middle guard, elite line, prussian pioneers to name but a few.

here is what happened

Did manual install of 3.7 before installer available. Using Mod Mgr 1.5? to launch as per instructions.

Everything fine until I had a crash starting a battle. Then Mod Mgr reporting duplicate key and not loading properly. CTD on launch even before first screen up.

Found that deleting HBs MOD Mgr now loading but still not launching.

Removed and Reinstalled 3.0,3.1,3.4 and 3.7 still no go.

Complete remove and reinstall NTW and NTW III, still no go.

Managed to get going with this user script and launching from Steam. Everything working apart from unit names and NTW III visuals.

The SPC v37m pack file is the one that was released with the v37 patch. This was our third patch since NTW3 v3.0 was released and the patch installers are becoming more difficult to work with.

I've done a clean install of the NTW3 files myself. After you run the uninstall check the Napoleon data folder and remove any remaining NTW3 files. I clean up my HD b4 reinstalling the v3.0 (part 1 & 2) files, then add the patches for v3.1; v3.4 & v3.7

The v37 patch will update the SPC to v37, MP remains at v34. The v37 patch for the HB files does not work at the moment, Lord Desaix will address that when he returns on Jan. 4th

We updated the localization file for the v37 patch but we'll have to make corrections for NTW3 v4.0 release.

Been playing British and my only comment is about unit numbers. Don't have enough.

Unlimited mid sized ships 74 guns and lower.

But low on line infantry.

I suppose this is historical (hysterical?) but needs to work with victory requirements.

Also didn't get Hanover infantry when I took Hanover.

The Area of Recruitment (AoR) that we are adding to the v4 release will allow the British to recruit the Hanover units as well as the new Brunswick units from that region. They will also be able to recruit Dutch units from Netherlands.

When winning a battle against besieged Mecklenburg (with Sweden) the game crashes for me during the reload screen. All three attempts I got as "close victory."
