Doubt about the installation

Postby TestingNTW3 » Thu Nov 30, 2017 8:37 pm

When I choose historical battle: for example Eylau. I start Eylau through single player land battle. There are no predefined armies and it is not possible to change the nationality of the two sides at all.

Is this normal?

Should there be predefined armies and is it possible to play any HB single player at all against CPU?

It is possible to play a HB on single player, but it will be very laggy and the AI is really dumb. In order to do this you need to go to multiplayer and then Total War Online or Local Network, select host battle, the scenario battle, and then pick the scenario you want and add the AI.(There are multiple scenarios in historical battles like "1v1, 1v2, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, and some alternate reality ones like "Where is Blucher?" in the Waterloo HB which simulates the Prussians not arriving at the battle") Hope this helped.

There are no internet or network involved: why is it laggy? is the AI on a remote server instead of your PC?

In thse multiple scenario there are no predefined armies following the historicial line-up. Is this normal?

HB must be launched by hosting a MP battle only, then you can CPU if you want to play alone. But the AI is totally unable to handle it.

I got it working. It is actually well made. The battle line up and the maps. Even against the computer it is good. But it is true the AI makes the game slow.
