Impressions and notes about NTW 3 V6.0

hello to the gaming community,

I open this post to gather opinions about this lastest version.

Personally, and I am a former NTW 3 (v2), this version is the most complete. I love it at any point of view, both the number and variety of units, as the mechanism of the game.

So far I have only met the players satisafit of this release. Besides there are many new players and it is really fun.

Congratulations to all Lordz who worked on this version.

I have only played this mod a few times and I like it very much.

I have however heard rumors of the unstoppable cavalry horde?

Look forward to seeing the unstoppable cavalry horde. To date, it seems that cavalry are an extremely fragile, if occasionally quite decisive arm.

Against the British or similar, you are not going to get far with a lot of cav. Against a lot of non-square troops with low morale, I can imagine (but have yet to see) a tremendous rout occurring. Worth experimenting with.

What I like so far:
- Artillery impact seems about right
- Cavalry can be decisive early, mid or late game, if used well. Lovely to see one side preserve their cav until the end, then smash a faltering line.
- Cavalry can be totally useless early, mid or late game, if used poorly.
- Infantry still rules in most battles
