Denmark Possible New Units and Adjustments
*Uniform plates can be seen at this site for some of these; very small but it shows facing colours etc. http://www.triangleminiatures.com/Plate ... .htm#thumb

Cavalry 660 men per regiment on paper, around 500 in reality
1. Life Regiment of Horse/Livregiment Ryttere (cap 1); elite 500 men
uniforms; as line heavies with straw yellow facings
stats; elite
numbers; 500 men; 72 man unit
http://www.triangleminiatures.com/Plate ... .htm#thumb

2. Light Dragoon Life Regiment /Liv Regimentet lette Dragoner (cap 1); elite
uniforms; as line light dragoons, black facings

numbers; 500; 72 man unit
http://www.grosser-generalstab.de/tafel ... 19_19.html

These are present and good already. I have included these just to explain the unit, also in case there is a separate Norwegian army, there will be no dragoons in the Denmark army.
3. Dragoons/ Dragonregiment (cap 6) *2 for each unit; all dragoons were Norwegian, part of Norwegian army in 1814
uniforms; as line heavy cavalry; yellow, light blue or white facings, but with green cockade and plume
stats; reserve
numbers; 950 men each regiment 72 man units
as can be seen here but should have green plume and cockade
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=378865

If a seperate Norwegian army is made, these should not be part of the Denmark army.
4. Akershusiske Mounted Rifle Corps /Akershusiske Ridende Jegerkorps (cap 1); *Norwegian; part of Norway from 1814 on
uniforms; grey uniform, shako, I would assume grey horse blankets
stats; line or better; this unit was very good, helped rout the Swedes in 1814
numbers;estimate 500 72 man unit
can be seen here;
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=378865

5. Mounted Rifle Corps /Ridende Jægerkorps (cap 3)
uniforms; light green with shako, I would assume light green horse blankets
stats; volunteers
numbers; estimate 500
can be seen here;
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=378865

6. Horse Blanket Corrections; All Denmark units should have red saddle cloths; white or off white stripe. I would assume that jagers would have green cloths; Light Dragoons, hussars and Uhlan should have red, the other units already do have red.
Can be seen here;

Infantry; 2 battalions per regiment; 600 men per battalion
These Units can be seen here;

http://empire.histofig.com/King-s-Foot-Lifeguard.html

*I see that there is a Danish leib infantry choice already, if that is to represent the next three units it should have (cap 6)
2. Danish Life Regiment of Foot/Danske Livregiment til FODS (cap 2) elite
uniforms; as line, yellow facings

Would be good to see some of those units in the roster. Particularly liking the life guard dragoons. Nice research.

Thanks Uxbridge. :smile:

Denmark seems pretty weak in game (rightfully so), an elite heavy and light cavalry unit would help them out, plus having a few elite and better line regiments, an elite light infantry choice, and engineers (which they had) will help them out some.
