We are building a PC game based on the Battle of Waterloo and are seeking feedback on what you would want to see in the game. We have already incorporated authentic Napoleonic tactics and uniforms in addition to having all four battles of 1815.

The first mini demo of Waterloo 3D is finally here!

This is the first of 2 or 3 more mini demos before we go live on Kickstarter for crowdfunding.

For the first time in the history of Napoleonic wargaming, this release vividly demonstrates the proper modelling of the black powder, smooth bore era battle psychology. You can fight a brigade of four infantry battalions against four enemy battalions.

The demo showcases the terrain, the lighting, grass and environmental effects. Plus, it gently introduces players to authentic Napoleonic tactics.

Well I signed up, hopefully it will be a breath of fresh air to the Napoleanic Era gaming scene since Empire Total War came out in 2009.

Hi everyone
I have yet to venture into Total War, but seeing there is an ACW mod it got my interest. I am quite old now, 65, yes I know, goes without saying. However I am still working as a Unix/Linux computer administrator/consultant at a big company. Always been interested in the American Civil War which helped me get an O Level (UK) in history (1970) although we never even touched on the subject during school.

I have downloaded the mod for the ACW just to see if it could be used if I download Napoleon: Total War - Gold Edition (MAC). The mod contains a script txt file which is essential, and some pack files so nothing Mac OSX can't handle.

Therefore could I ask if I can actually get the ACW 6.2 mod working if I buy NTW?

Hey, I'm Ben, a lifelong wargamer from Texas. Though after spending a couple years there, Newcastle-upon-Tyne is my Second Home.

I've been playing DarthMod's Napoleon for awhile, but saw NTW3 in some Pixellated Apollo videos, and I knew I had to get in on this action. So hi, hello, how's it going, and also do you Really have to keep your troops in deep, blocky columns to prevent their morale from crumbling like wet cardboard?

Line Infantry units were trained to fight in formation, this mutual support standing shoulder to shoulder gave them the strength to face off against the enemy lines opposing them.

Thought I'd download NTW3, not played since the days of NTW2 about 13 years ago, I used to be quite active at one point, thought i'd give it a whirl for a reminder of the good old days before my spawn scuppered my online gaming (it's my own fault, they are my spawn after all)

I find all of your work outstanding and so far I have immensely enjoyed the game. Thanks a lot for the magnificent job! :)

Being a Kriegsspiel-er this era has always fascinated me but with this mod finally, I can truly enjoy it. One thing especially cool that I found is that one of the Hussar (I suppose squadrons) in the game was actually raised in my home-city and actually fought till the 2nd WW
