First of all I would like to wish all the best to Goldy and hope that you will get back to us in the future :)
This seems like a good old case of a minor miscommunication turning nasty. Fullin is rather obviously joking with Goldy, while Lepic takes the joke at face value and reacts accordingly.
I don't know why Clinch and Harout have chosen to escalate it in quite appalling ways, rather than simply explaining the situation to Lepic.
Thank you Hekko, you are wise man indeed.
Lepic, you obviously dont know Goldy or understand my sense of humor.
You dont obviously know I had PM Goldy before writing with humor on the forum.
When , and if , you ever get to know the Duke, youll find out he needs no one to defend him either, less of all from the likes of me.
if others were in the same informed position as i am, maybe they would have failed to find it in anyway funny as well?
You see, anyone that actually knows Goldy, or me would have understood it was a joke and an expession of love and appreciation. But you didnt because you really dont know either of us.
So why did you intervined?
Why did you adressed me , when I wasnt talking to you.
Why have you turned Goldys farewell into this (with some help from Clinch
On the Clinch issue I will say he was out of line, we pointed that out to him and hence he has apologize.
These days, a man has nothing more to offer than that, his apologies, since duels have been mostly abolished in the 19th century.
Accepting an apology , doesnt mean you have to like him, but aknoledge a stept foward from his behaviour and his will to bury the hatchet.
An apology speaks volumes of a mans character, and echos loudly on the other that doesnt accept it.
