Bux! My God good Sir last time I checked you were banned. Despite my most earnest pleas to the contrary. Good heavens how the landscape has changed. :)

Re: Looking to make a subtle reentry

Good heavens what an earth has been going on? You know my bookmark for the Lordz was lost and for quite some time , I couldn't even Google "lordz" with any joy. Of course I have been a two timer on twcentre... but one must never forget ones stamping ground. :)

Looking to make a subtle reentry

Hello all,
Look it has been terribly remiss of me , of late. I cut my teeth on these forums and thought it might be an idea to revisit. Allow me to doff my Bearskin and and shout a HUZZAH!

Chum I have been in hiatus now, for quite some time. I frequent other forums on a whim. I have been rather ill , Lenny might attest to my reappearance here out of the blue, and I mean no offense Lenny, for not responding in a timely fashion to your PM. This forum will always remain a hallmark of Nap...

My Dear Empress, I seldom visit these Hallowed Halls, one thing will drive out another as they say. You have been such an incredible mainstay outliving the "lives" of many of the Lordz themselves. There are but two things that I can say that that might appeal... "France, the Army.. he...

Well I'm back

All, Having returned from a debilitating illness of quite some months, I thought I might pop into the hallowed grounds that are the Lordz Forums. Yes it's me, no nom de plumes and such, rather a red plume and a bearskin  I am greatly out of touch with the goings on , could somebody please b...

Goodbye , farewell and amen Lordz

As one of many who received the message of the imminent demise of the Lordz Modding Collective, I would like to add a resounding voice of appreciation and gratitude for many years of damn hard work. You chaps know who you are. I could not begin to call a Roll of Honour. This forum has been a cathart...

The Old Guard advance for the last time..

Chaps, with a tear in my eye and a "kiss" of the Colours.... farewell my soldiers... farewell my sons... farewell my children. Allow me to share with you a favourite piece of music from a movie most of us love and enjoy... The Guard advance, The Prussians and Wellingtons rebuttal. From the...

I mean there are volumes on Baron Larrey, Naps Chief Surgeon and his "flying ambulances", but I will be buggered if I can find a single illustration (apart from a silly period cartoon) of a French Surgeon. Wouldn't they simply wear a uniform of an Officer in the Regiment in which they were...
