No. Since original game doesn't support 40 units armies, it's not possible to do this. Maybe in singleplayer, maybe in historical battles (where they give you these units), but they would have to rewrite not that small part of whole game code to achieve this. Well, technically it's possible. I think you can choose an army that has only LOC point and add the rest to the AI.

Hey, you choose HB in launcher, run the game, choose Multiplayer, LAN, Host Game and Scenario. But honestly, it's almost pointless to play against AI. It's crap (but still better than Rome 2/Attila crap), it doesn't understand reinforcements, etc.

From what I remember, you can move or shoot in any formation you want. You just need to form a square (real square), before you can form a square (unit's ability).

HB is broken because its most fundamental rule Line to Column to Square is currently Line to cube to square and very hard to under stand for non HB veterans thus is stupid.It should be from Line to a COLUMN to be able to form square. I'm gonna throw my little opinion to the mix - I think it's good idea to add "knockdown effect" again. I know that one of the authors (Avon Ulysses) said that it prevents people to ride cav through own units, but I think that could be solved by simply adding... I don't know how to call it,...

If you can remove the FoW without affecting the multiplayer campaign, why not, if that helps the AI. FoW is one of the pillars of NTW III . It doesnt help the AI as it doesnt help the human player too. I would say it SHOULD help AI, especially in terms of "what to do", "where's enemy...
