Suggestions for next update

I have been enjoying the campaigns in V2. However there was one major issue I noted. The allied nations walk over the French. So if you are playing as one of the coalition nations you really don't get much of game. Playing as the French presents a few challenges at the start, so why not increase the...

Re: NTW3 2.0 - Impressions & Comments

Doc, see PM. Playing on last night with campaign... The reduced building costs turn the AI into something rather impressive on the campaign map. In the space of one month in 1806 I had 5 Russian armies (full stacks) attack Vienna, held by me as the French and Paris attacked by 2 British armies lande...

Re: Do you LIKE NTW3 ? Rate it now !

Gave it an 8, which is high praise. I think there is scope to improve a few more elements such as music in battle and I miss 40 unit armies of darthmod. But its so good I just can't stop playing... off to play some more.

Re: NTW3 2.0 - Impressions & Comments

Congratulations to the Lordz team on an excellent release of NTW3. I have been using the 'darthmod' over the past year, which falls greatly short of what you have done here. The battles are impressive and for once feel 'right'. The units and uniforms are finally correct. Having problems getting the ...

Re: Well has anyone purchased it yet?

I have spent about 10 hours in play yesterday. It is very good indeed. The graphics are excellent and they have included some great detail in the units. I started the Itailian campaign but admit I was roundly beaten within 15 turns or so, well enough to give up anyway. It seemed very hard to make mo...

Re: Why I will not be buying Empire

I seriously want to get Empire: Total War, but every day I see one more thing that turns me off from it. In the past, I have played the devils advocate, justifying the Creative Assembly's position. Now, however, I do not know if I can continue. The following are some things in Empire that have disa...

Re: A first look

My response to fixed artillery, don't use them :)

The 12pdrs are fast to get and do the job well. I noticed I can recruit morters so I'll see how destructive they are.

Re: A first look

Well last night gaming was good! Following the 13 colonies plan I took all the objectives and of course ended up at war with France, now they are no longer in the Americas and surplus troops from there are about to land at Portsmouth to mass with others for my 3rd invasion of France itself. So what ...

Re: Why I will not be buying Empire

Its good really, nice that they have eased up the campaign management without losing too much detail and reduced all the map wanderers. Also much harder, so far it seems to buy and upkeep huge armies, which is more realistic also. Only the first day playing but full of many interesting components to...

A first look

Hi all, I was delighted to hear the letter box drop me my copy of ETW yesterday morning, the killer was having to go to work and wait for evening. During the day at work I read more than a few blogs/forums in which the game got some major slapping for slowness and poor graphics not to mention game p...

I really would have to throw myself 100% behind this project! A short film or documentary about the Lordz - I favour the short film, working title 'The Lordz and other friends' ideas?. Covering the history of the Lordz since 2002. Now the cast is going to be tricky, will give that some thought today...

I find it quite sad that you would think that we have indeed been taking drugs, we all come from a diverse society. Perhaps more in the case on Sir Edward and Papa things are just done differently. Why only last week I was at a horse trials meeting and there was plenty of people very similar to Sir ...

Me? Acid??? Guess you didn't read Papa's post then. However I'm sure Papa is just that way and in modern society we should accept all no matter their way, well at least show some understanding. I always thought Papa was one of great vision perhaps vision we cannot see, yet. I can't begin to t...
