Re: Crash
Hello Raji, crash after loading will happen with some huge scenario like Eylau, Waterloo and Ligny if you choose the french side. It's caused by the number of units controlled by AI. But all other battles should work against AI. But what the point if you cannot play the Waterloo battle ? The point ...

Marengo, Montebello and Auerstadt...good old times. After eight years I took the motivation to rebuild Auerstadt map from scratch.

A visit to Castiglione/Solferino and Rivoli battlefields
For those who like to check if Napoleon's Eagles historical maps are enough detailed I took the chance to visit (although not in the proper way and time) both Castiglione and Rivoli battlefields, I hope you enjoy (Rivoli will follow next days) https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/ntwhbclub/a-real-aar-my-...

Re: Not a request, just for information.
It would take a professional team of modders considerable time to update the Napoleon Total War game to the Rome/Atilla standards given all of changes to the db tables and file structure. Best is to hope that CA revisits the Napoleon wars with one of their new releases that we could work with. They...

Re: Saalfeld
I put Ligny on stand by and took back these old files from Davidov to finish this minor battle which can however be suitable for good 1vs1 or 2vs2.

Re: Release of Napoleon's Eagles version 8.0
We toasted at the new version with a hard fought Marengo 2vs2, replay and discussion at NE forum No lag no crash, 2vs2 definitely the way to go although harder to manage more units but also more realistic without all front simultaneously engaged. https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/ntwhbclub/marengo-2v2...

Thanx Chromey, for me it all started with this movie when I was 12. I saw the helicopter scene of the french charge against british squares on tv news and that was love at first sight.

Re: Battle of Ligny, Napoleon's last victory
This is huge...no clue how the french can win here, the prussian fortress looks impenetrable. Scale doesn't help in this case of regimental size infantry. I guess we really need low accuracy for prussian to avoid a french carnage. Maybe the battalion scenario will show a better balance between frenc...

Re: Battle of Ligny, Napoleon's last victory
Some decent progess on Ligny, units are done with enough details for facing variations. Roster is quite large, 221 units for the regimental scenario with Durutte's division included as option and 220 for the battalion level scenario without Grouchy/III Prussian Corps
Next the map...

Re: Great generals with tiny tiny unit/staff
Moreover, generals did seldomly die on the battlefields. I think that Lannes, Bessieres, Lasalle, D'Hautpoul, Desaix would disagree. Napoleonic wars were not modern type of warfare where generals stay in confortable button rooms. Even Napoleon, not only general but Emperor, was wounded at Ratisbon.

Re: Vanilla Music Mod for NTW3
May I suggest in this case to make a movie pack with just the music file, in this case fx1 will remain the same and you should have no compatibility issue. If working you can then pass the small pack instead of the whole fx1.pack which is huge. I think it's better to remove the link until you know f...

Just beta testing, Lib. Desaix is doing all the job. The rumours are that Desaix has a group of illegal immigrants doing the modding work for him in his basement. New battles, revision of stats, revision of maps and victory conditions for many battles, new uniforms. It''s just too suspicious lol An...

Hi, if you're interested also in historical battles don't be shy to say hello in our dedicated forum here or at https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/ntwhbclub/index.php We prefer to play only HB with some house rules to make them more realistic (mainly LCS and NCTFU) with a customized mechanic. Of course...
