The Lordz Map descriptions.

The Lordz maps have been made primarily for the Napoleonic MP Community, but (of course) they are also for SP users and the entire Empire playing pubic to use. The “idea” was/is to make many varied maps, it is impossible to make all maps that all people like, there will no doubt be some maps that some people don’t like for a variety of reasons - such is life.

Maps made by the Lordz can vary from very plain and simple with few features to more complex detailed ones with many features and everything in between. It is intentional that they are not all crammed with loads of “stuff”, we have attempted to make the maps with different styles and colours and also trying to make them easy to remember, before selecting a map from the map name menu in game.

In the Map forum each map will have it’s own topic, The map description topics can be SORTED into Alph A to Z order by using the Sort posts facility at the bottom of the maps forum.

At the top of each page will be a small top down picture of the battlefield with the APPROXIMATE Deployment Zones (DZs) marked in blue for team one and red for team two. That is followed by a description of the map, sometimes brief, sometimes detailed, depending on the map, at the end is the logic (if any exists) in where the DZs have been placed.

All feedback (positive and negative) is very welcome, but please ensure the following when making comments :

1. All comments are kept to the individual map on that map topic only. Each map has it’s own individual page, please make use of them .

2. Negative comments should include reasons for the negative comment and what might be done to avoid the same “problem” in future maps. For example : This map is very poor because it only has one farm and a couple of trees on it, it is too much the same grass colour making it bland and uninteresting, it needs to have more features, there could have been a town near the wood on the team 2 right and a few other farms spread around the map, etc etc etc.

3. Comments of a very general nature about the maps should be posted on the general forum. Please keep the Maps Forum for particular comments on each individual map.

We hope you find at least some of them enjoyable and if they add something to the basic game by means of a variety of battlefields to use then it‘s been time well spent.
